We are Patrick and Eleanor, adoptive parents of 2 boys, hoping to add more children to our family. We would love a child between the ages of 0 and 5 and are open to multiples as well.
We know that life is not perfect and that no one ever wishes they were having to make an adoption plan. But, we also believe that God can bring blessings even in the darkest moments, and children are always a blessing.
With our 2 previous adoptions, we have experienced both joy and pain, we have laughed and we have cried. Above all, we have loved and have found more joy than we ever thought possible. We love our boys, we love the families they came from, and we have lots more love to share.
First, we used to be a military family. Patrick was in the United States Army for 20 years, and we were fortunate to live in several states and even across the ocean in Germany for a few years. Our boys have lived in New York, Texas, and Minnesota, and we now plan to make Minnesota our permanent home.
Patrick currently works as a Civil Engineer, and Eleanor is a trained pastry chef, working part-time as a culinary instructor.
Our boys attend a private school that is part of our church just a few miles from where we live. Our neighborhood is full of families with children, and our yard is a gathering spot for kids of all ages.
We are Catholic and love being involved in church activities. Our boys enjoy sports year-round, Scouting, riding bikes, swimming, and cuddling up together for family movie nights.
